[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Lancaster 1-12-1959 as Chapter XIX of the Ordinances of the Village of Lancaster (Ch. 57 of the 1976 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
GENERAL REFERENCES
General penalties — See Ch. Ch. 1, Art. II.
No building or part thereof or structure of any kind shall be moved upon or along any public street or place within said Village without permission, in writing, from the Board of Trustees, which consent shall specify the course of removal and shall require an undertaking first to be given and signed by the applicant and one or more responsible sureties approved by said Board, conditioned that the applicant will, in all respects, comply with the terms and conditions of such permit and indemnify the Village against any damage or loss occasioned by reason of such removal.

Any person committing an offense against any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II, Penalties for Offenses, of the Code of the Village of Lancaster.
