It is the purpose of this article to protect and promote the public health, safety and general welfare by establishing periods of operation of Village parks and to establish other guidelines for the use and occupancy of all Village parks.
This article shall apply to all parks owned, operated and/or situated within the Village of Caledonia.
The hours during which the parks shall be open to the public shall be from 7:00 a.m. until sunset.
The creation, maintenance or permitting of unreasonably loud or disturbing noise is prohibited.
The possession and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages in any Village park is prohibited.
In addition to any provision of the Penal Law of the State of New York, any person who commits a violation of this article shall be subject to a fine of up to $250 for each violation or 15 days' imprisonment, or both.
The authority to enforce this article is conferred upon the Village of Caledonia Police Department, the Livingston County Sheriff's Department and the New York State Police.
