Editor’s Note: Former § C-49, Term and election,
was removed pursuant to Ord. No. 425, adopted 8-10-2009, which provided
for the elimination of the elected Tax Collector and the appointment
of a Tax Collector by majority vote of the Borough Council. This change
to the Charter was approved at referendum held 5-19-2009.
The Tax Collector shall have and exercise all
powers and duties now or hereafter conferred or imposed on him or
her by applicable state law. The Tax Collector shall perform such
other and related duties as shall be required or delegated to him
or her by Council and/or the North Allegheny School District.
