Upon written request of any taxpayer who is subject to the local tax ordinances of the client,[1] Berkheimer Associates is hereby instructed to provide a letter to said taxpayer informing same of any outstanding tax balances and/or delinquencies due and owing to the client as of the date of the taxpayer's written request and certifying that said amount stated is true and accurate. If, at the time of said request, the taxpayer requesting such information owes no outstanding tax balances and/or delinquencies to the client, then said certification letter shall state that no taxes are current due and owing to the client as of the date of the taxpayer's request.

Editor's Note: The prefatory clauses to this ordinance establish that the Borough of Bradford Woods is “hereinafter referred to as client.”
Berkheimer Associates is hereby authorized to assess a reasonable charge for providing said certification letters as herein described, which is to be paid by the taxpayer at the time that a request for such information is made upon it.
The client hereby saves harmless, indemnifies and/or absolves Berkheimer Associates from and against any and all liability in connection with the release of any confidential information contained said certification letters as herein described.
