The following standard codes, as last amended
supplemented or modified, are hereby adopted by reference for the
Borough of East Stroudsburg:
A.
The International Property Maintenance Code/2006 as
published by the International Code Council, Inc.
(1)
Section 111 (Means of Appeal) of the International
Property Maintenance Code/2006 is hereby deleted. A violation of this
chapter may cause the Code Office to initiate action with the District
Justice. The District Justice and subsequent court proceedings will
determine guilt or innocence.
(2)
Section 302.8 (Motor Vehicles) of the International
Property Maintenance Code/2006 is hereby amended by adding the following
second exception:

Exception: A passenger vehicle may be continued
to be worked on provided that the owner submits to the Borough a letter
stating he has the property owner's permission, and that the work
will not take longer than six months before the passenger vehicle
is licensed, insured and inspected. This exception does not apply
to any commercial vehicle.
