[HISTORY: Adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Chester 9-1-1992 by Ord. No. 16:12-92. Amendments noted where applicable.]
All buildings, including residences, within the Township of Chester shall only display those building/residential numbers assigned by the Tax Assessor of Chester Township, with the concurrence of the Chief of Police. No other postal or building/residential numbers shall be displayed. Numbers identifying commercial condominium locations shall be permitted to be displayed.

It shall be the responsibility of the landowner to comply with this chapter, whether the premises are leased or not.

This chapter shall be enforced by the Police Department of the Township of Chester.
Any person convicted of violation of this chapter shall be punished by a fine of $25 for the first offense and $50 for subsequent violation. Each day's continued violation shall constitute a separate offense.
