The Monroe Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission is dissolved.
In addition to any functions or duties provided for by the Code
of the City of Monroe and the laws of the State of Michigan, the Citizens
Planning Commission shall carry out the following functions and perform
the following duties relating to parks and recreation:
A.
It shall
convey recommendations to the Mayor and City Council regarding the
Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
B.
It shall
assist with the review and recommendations related to park site plans,
elevations, and floor plans for current and future park facilities.
C.
It shall
assist in the preparation and review of the Parks and Recreation Master
Plan and make recommendations to the Mayor and City Council regarding
its content as it relates to programs, facilities and community surveys.
