Notwithstanding the provisions of New York State Town Law § 29(3), which are expressly superseded hereby under the Town's Municipal Home Rule authority, the Supervisor of the Town of Chili is authorized to obtain and utilize a stamp facsimile of his signature for purposes of affixing his signature where required in furtherance of town business, including, but not limited to, execution of checks, drafts and voucher approvals for the Town of Chili. The Town Board may, by resolution, adopt the appropriate internal controls regarding the utilization of said stamp by the Supervisor and the safekeeping of same.
