The compensation of the Mayor of the Borough of Lehighton is
hereby fixed at $3,000 per year, payable from the general funds of
the borough in equal monthly payments during each month of service
as the Mayor of the Borough of Lehighton, said borough having a population
in excess of 5,000 and less than 10,000 as determined by the latest
available census figures.
This article shall take effect on February 1, 1998, and the
first monthly compensation payable hereunder shall be for the month
of February 1998.
