Peddling and soliciting — See Ch. 91.
A. 
No individual real estate owner, or tenant thereof, shall conduct, within or without said premises so occupied, more than two (2) casual sales of any personal property displayed to the general public (exclusive of farm animals and farm equipment which may be sold in the normal course of business) within any year, beginning from the date of the first such sale.
B. 
It is further provided that such sales must not include any merchandise purchased for the purpose of said sale or obtained from any source whatsoever, which were not originally the personal property of the applicant.

The applicant shall apply for a permit to conduct such sale from the Police Department, accompanied by a fee as determined by the Selectboard. The Chief of Police or his/her designee shall determine whether the applicant is qualified to operate said sale.
