There shall be and is hereby established and
created the Essex County Americans with Disabilities Policy and Review
Committee to undertake, by whatever means appropriate, a self-evaluation
program of services, policies and practices of the County of Essex
and the effects thereof and to make recommendations as appropriate
and necessary to modify any such services, policies and/or practices
which do not meet the requirements of the ADA. Said Committee shall
provide an opportunity for interested persons to participate in the
self-evaluation process.
Said Committee shall consist of the County Administrator,
the County Counsel and the Directors of the aforementioned departments[1] or their designees, and a Commissioner member to be appointed
by the Board.
