Adoption of Code — See Ch. 1.
The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Madison
hereby adopts the regulations and policies known as "Division 2, Board
of Selectmen Regulations" of the Code of the Town of Madison, as published
by General Code, together with the change of numbering, formatting
and stylizing thereof, a copy of said Code being on file with the
Town Clerk, effective on passage. This resolution shall supersede
and replace by reference to said Code the regulations and policies
of a general and permanent nature heretofore adopted by the Board
of Selectmen of the Town of Madison.
Throughout the Code, references to the Maine
Revised Statutes Annotated (M.R.S.A.) are revised to reflect the numbering
of the statutes as of the publication of this Code as follows: (Chapter
and section number references are to the regulations as they have
been renumbered and appear in the Code.)
