The Borough Council of the Borough of Old Forge,
County of Lackawanna, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, hereby signifies
its intention to organize a municipality authority under the Municipality
Authorities Act of 1945, as amended.[1] Said Authority will be organized jointly by the Boroughs
of Avoca, Dupont, Duryea, Moosic, Old Forge and Taylor.

The proper officers are hereby authorized and
directed to execute and the Secretary is authorized and directed to
affix the Common and Corporate Seal to and attest and said officers
are authorized and directed to deliver the Articles of Incorporation
for the Authority in the form attached hereto and incorporated herein
and marked Exhibit A.[1]

The Secretary is directed to cause or join in
the publication of the notice of this article and the proposed filing
of the Articles of Incorporation as required by Section 3 of the Municipality
Authorities Act of 1945.[1]

The proper officers are directed to join with
the proper officers of the other incorporating municipalities in the
filing of Articles of Incorporation, together with the necessary proof
of publication with the Secretary of the commonwealth, and to do all
other acts necessary and appropriate to effect the incorporation of
the proposed Authority, including the payment of any filing fees in
connection therewith.
The person named in the form of Articles of
Incorporation attached hereto as a citizen of this municipality is
hereby appointed as a member of the Board of the Authority for the
term provided in said form.
The initial project to be undertaken by the
Authority is the financing, construction and provision of facilities
for the treatment of sewage from the incorporating municipalities
and from such other political subdivisions and areas as desire the
service.
