Any person violating any of the provisions of
this chapter shall, for each such offense, be punished by a fine of
not more than $1,000, plus costs of prosecution, and, in default of
payment of such fine and costs, by imprisonment for not more than
30 days. Further, this shall not prevent the Borough from initiating
proceedings under the Air Pollution Control Act (35 P.S. § 4001
et seq.).
