As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the
meanings indicated:
Includes rags, old rope, paper or bagging, old iron, brass,
copper or empty bottles, or any type of auto salvage or machinery
salvage.
It shall be unlawful to operate or maintain any junkyard or to carry on the business of junk dealer or to keep any junk shop, store, or place for the purpose of the sale of junk as defined in § 91-1.
It shall be unlawful for any person to allow the accumulation of junk as defined in § 91-1 in any place in the City of Lexington, except in an enclosure where the same shall not be open to the view of the public.
Any person, firm, or corporation violating any
provision of this chapter shall be fined in an amount not to exceed
$750 for each offense; and a separate offense shall be deemed committed
on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
