A. No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon or
at the following parking lots owned and operated by the Township of
Morris except as hereinafter set forth.
B. No person shall, without written permission from the
Chief of the Morris Township Fire Department, utilize any of the parking
lots set forth in this article for any purpose other than parking
of motor vehicles as permitted by this article. Specifically, but
not by way of limitation, parking lots shall not be used for skateboarding,
baseball, football, soccer, in-line skating, hockey, volleyball, play
areas or any other similar or dissimilar activity.
This article is applicable to the following
parking facilities:

The following vehicles may be parked at the
parking facilities described above:
A. Only vehicles owned by the Township of Morris.
B. Vehicles operated by the paid or volunteer members
of the Morris Township Fire Department during such time or times as
they are actually engaged in activities of the Fire Department or
its fire companies.
C. Vehicles operated by persons attending recreational
events sponsored by the Township of Morris or using Morris Township
recreational facilities, but only during the period of said event
or use.
D. Persons legitimately present on said premises for
Fire Department business only.
E. On days of public elections or other events which
may be sponsored by the Township of Morris, vehicles operated by participants,
during the period of such participation only.
F. Vehicles belonging to residents of Center Avenue and
Locust Street when the road is snow covered, this exception to last
until such time as the Township Department of Public Works has completed
snow removal efforts on those streets.

Only persons who are paid or volunteer firefighters
of the Township of Morris shall park in those spaces within the above-described
parking lots which are marked as "Reserved" for such firefighters.
The Police Department of the Township of Morris
may remove from any parking space any unattended vehicle parked or
standing in any portion of said parking facilities which such vehicle
is in violation of this article. When a vehicle is so removed from
said parking space, the owner of said vehicle shall pay, before being
entitled to the recovery or possession of said vehicle, all reasonable
charges for towing, storage and other expenses incurred in the removal
of said vehicle. In addition thereto, every person convicted of a
violation of a provision of this article or any supplement or amendment
hereto shall be liable to a penalty of not more than $50.
