Borough of East Rutherford, NJ Chapter 110 Bingo and Raffles

§ 110-1 Raffles and bingo permitted.

A. Games of chance commonly known as "bingo" or "raffles," as defined by the New Jersey Statutes, Annotated,[1] may be conducted in the Borough of East Rutherford, provided that:

(1) The applicant for the license to conduct such game otherwise qualifies under the provision of the applicable statutes of the State of New Jersey and the rules and regulations of the Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission.[2]

(2) The organization conducting the games is a charitable, religious or other organization specifically qualifying under the provisions of the applicable statutes.

B. In accordance with the regulations of the legalized Games of Chance Control Commission, specifically N.J.A.C. 13:47-1.1, the Borough Clerk is hereby designated as the issuing authority to approve the granting of raffle and bingo licenses.
