The Mayor of the Township of Blairstown is hereby
authorized to close any street or portion thereof to motor vehicle
traffic on any day or days or during specified hours on any day or
days whenever he/she or she finds that such closing is necessary for
the preservation of the public safety, health or welfare.
In the event of such a street closing, the Mayor
shall:
No individual shall be permitted to operate
a motor vehicle on any street or portion thereof which has been closed
pursuant to this article. Any violation of this article shall be punishable
by a fine not to exceed $100.
