The plumbing standards of the Uniform Code shall
be the minimum standards for all buildings hereafter constructed in
the Village of Roslyn Harbor and for all existing buildings wherein
any installation, alteration, repair or replacement of or addition
to any plumbing system is proposed to be done.
A plumbing permit shall be prominently displayed
on the premises while the work is being performed.
All plumbing work shall be performed by or under
the direct supervision of a duly licensed plumber, except as otherwise
provided in this chapter.
A. A duly licensed master or employing plumber who submits
a currently valid master plumber's license from a municipality located
within New York State and maintains his principal place of business
in such municipality shall, upon approval of the Building inspector,
be considered a duly licensed master plumber authorized to perform
plumbing work under an approved plumbing permit within the Village.
B. No plumber shall directly or indirectly allow his
license to be used in connection with work wherein he is not the contractor
or subcontractor and personally responsible for the work done.
