[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Roslyn Harbor as indicated in article histories. Amendments noted where applicable.]

The rules and regulations for the use of Roslyn Harbor Village parks are hereby established as follows:
A. 
No person shall enter upon or use the facilities of a Village park except residents of the Village and their accompanied guests.
B. 
No natural vegetation, landscaping, wildlife, or other park features shall in any way be damaged, mutilated, destroyed or removed.
C. 
No property, sign, marker or other device shall in any way be defaced, torn down, damaged, removed, mutilated or destroyed.
D. 
Persons using the park shall strictly comply with all notices and signs.
E. 
Loitering is prohibited.
F. 
Unless registered with the Park Commission, no animals shall be permitted in a park except when on a leash not more than four feet in length.
G. 
Weapons of any nature whatsoever are prohibited.
H. 
No person shall so conduct himself or herself as to disturb persons using the park or other persons in the vicinity of the park.
I. 
Fires are prohibited except in areas designated by the Park Commission.

No person under 12 years of age shall be permitted in the vicinity of the Village Pond unless accompanied by an adult who shall assume full responsibility for his safety and conduct.
No person shall bathe, wade or swim in the Village Pond at any time.
No person shall operate a boat, vessel or other watercraft or contrivance used or capable of being used as a means of transportation in water or air upon, under or in the vicinity of the Village Pond.
Fishing is prohibited in the Village Pond.
Ice skating is prohibited.
Anyone conducting or performing any of the activities proscribed in this article does so at his own risk, and the Village disclaims any and all liability in connection therewith.
Any person who shall violate any provision of this article or the rules and regulations adopted hereunder by the Board of Trustees shall be guilty of a violation and shall, upon conviction, be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, Article I of this Code.
