The position of "Public Building Inspector" is hereby established to enforce the chapters and laws of the State of New York, and rules and regulations adopted pursuant thereto, or portions thereof, as hereinafter set forth.
A. 
The Public Building Inspector shall be the enforcement officer of the following chapters and laws of the State of New York, insofar as they apply to multiple dwellings, mobile homes, lodging houses, places of public assembly, and commercial and industrial buildings and premises except for plumbing and sewer installations, material, equipment, appliances and fixtures:
(1) 
Chapter 76 of this Code entitled "Building Construction and Fire Prevention."
(2) 
Chapter 125 of this Code entitled "Housing Standards."
(3) 
Chapter 160 of this Code entitled "Zoning."
(4) 
Chapter 109 of this Code entitled "Flood Damage Prevention."
(5) 
Chapter 81 of this Code entitled "Buildings, Unsafe."
(6) 
Chapter 55 of this Code entitled "Air Pollution."
(7) 
Multiple Residence Law of the State of New York.
(8) 
New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code except Chapter C entitled "Fire Prevention Code."
B. 
The Public Building Inspector shall perform such other powers and duties as may be assigned to him or her by the Board of Trustees.
