The Grant County Board of Supervisors hereby authorizes and directs the Emergency Management - Disaster Services Agency and the Local Emergency Planning Committee to review and determine expenditures and reasonable and necessary containment expenses incurred by agencies/organizations in their responses to hazardous materials incidents.
Grant County shall have the authority to demand reimbursement from the individual or business causing the discharge for any and all expenses incurred by the County or any governmental body within the County.
In the event the individual or business fails to pay the expenses demanded by Grant County, the municipality entitled to payment of said expenses shall have the right to submit the same to its legal counsel for purposes of filing a collection lawsuit against the individual or business causing the discharge.
