The Town of Clinton hereby adopts C.G.S. §§ 8-31a
to 8-37a, inclusive, as amended, relating to regional planning agencies.
The joining of the Connecticut River Estuary
Regional Planning Agency by the Town of Clinton is hereby approved,
subject to the approval of an appropriation of the necessary funds
by the Board of Finance and subsequent Town Meeting, if necessary.

The Board of Selectmen is authorized, pursuant
to C.G.S. § 4-124c, to form and join a regional organization
known as the "Connecticut River Valley Council of Elected Officials"
with those powers and for those purposes set forth in C.G.S. §§ 4-124c
through 4-124h, as the same may, from time to time, be amended.
The representative to the Connecticut River
Valley Council of Elected Officials shall be the chief elected official
of the Town of Clinton.
