Pursuant to § 1660 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law, parking is prohibited on the north side of Park Place, and at all areas along Firehouse Road.

The Town Superintendent of Highways is hereby authorized to place on Park Place and Firehouse Road signs prohibiting parking on Park Place and Firehouse Road in conformance with the provisions of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.
Any vehicle parked in violation of this article may be removed by the Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Stockport.

After removal of any vehicle provided in this article, the Superintendent of Highways may store such vehicle in a suitable place at the expense of the owner. Such owner or person in charge of the vehicle may redeem the same upon payment to the Town Clerk of the Town of Stockport of all expenses actually and necessarily incurred in effecting such removal, together with any storage charges as provided in Chapter A126, Fees.[1]

The Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Stockport shall without delay report the removal and the disposition of any vehicle removed as provided in this article to the Stockport Town Board.

Failure to comply with the provisions of § 112-2 of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine in an amount set by resolution of the Town Board.
