A. 
Smoking is prohibited throughout the indoor places of employment of town employees under the control of the Town of Williamson except in areas specifically designated for smoking.
B. 
Smoking is prohibited in any indoor enclosed work area occupied by more than one person unless all employees in such areas agree to allow smoking.
C. 
Smoking is prohibited in all work facilities or areas used in common, such as rest rooms, hallways and rooms containing photocopying equipment or other office equipment with multiple users.
The Town Board may designate a separate enclosed room or rooms not open to the public for use as a smoking area. Such smoking areas will be clearly marked by a "smoking permitted" sign.
Employees found smoking outside designated smoking areas will be considered in violation of this policy and may be subject to penalties.
A copy of this policy shall be prominently posted in each separate building in which town employees work.
