In accordance with the provisions of the Municipal
Home Rule Law and Criminal Procedure Law of the State of New York,
the following persons are deemed to be public servants and are hereby
granted the power to issue and serve appearance tickets, returnable
in the Village Court, in connection with the performance of their
duties in enforcing any statute, local law, ordinance, rule or regulation
relating to parking, licensing of occupations or businesses, fire
prevention and safety, health and sanitation and building, zoning
and planning. The issuance and service of such appearance tickets
shall have the same force and effect as if served by a peace officer.
A. Code Enforcement Officer: for the enforcement of any
and all of the above provisions.
B. Deputy Code Enforcement Officer: for the enforcement
of any and all of the above provisions.

C. Building Inspector and Deputy Building Inspectors:
for the enforcement of any and all provisions pertaining to building,
zoning and planning.

D. Supervisor and Deputy Supervisor of Public Works and
Supervisor and Deputy Supervisor of Sanitation: for the enforcement
of any and all provisions pertaining to health and sanitation.

E. Chief Fire Inspector and Assistant Fire Inspectors:
for the enforcement of any and all provisions pertaining to fire prevention
and safety.

F. Ticket Agents: for the enforcement of any and all
provisions of the NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law pertaining to parking
and nonmoving violations and the Village Code, except those relating
to building, zoning, planning, fire prevention and safety.

G. Dog Control Officer: for the enforcement of any and
all provisions pertaining to dog control.

Such designation of the above-named persons
as public servants for the purposes set forth herein shall not be
deemed to confer upon such persons any additional powers other than
set forth herein.
Appearance tickets shall be issued and served
in compliance with the provisions of Article 150 of the Criminal Procedure
Law of the State of New York.
