A person desiring to conduct the trade, business
or calling of a plumber or of plumbing in the village as an employing
or master plumber shall be required to obtain a master plumber's license
issued by the Board of Public Safety.

The applicant for a certificate of competency shall pay a fee as provided in Chapter
93, Fees, which shall accompany the application to cover the cost of his or her examination, and no part of said fee shall be returned to the applicant if the certificate is not granted.
The Board of Public Safety shall, upon application
therefor, issue a master plumber's license to the person entitled
thereto in accordance with the preceding sections of this chapter,
and any person to whom the master plumber's license is issued shall
register his or her name and address at the office of the Village
Clerk.
Any master plumber's license issued under the
provisions of the preceding sections of this chapter shall expire
on the 31st day of December of the year in which it is issued and
may be renewed for one year from the first day of January in each
year upon application made within 30 days preceding expiration. The
master plumber's license of any person failing to renew within the
time above specified shall become absolutely void.
Any licensed plumber not securing his or her
renewal by the first of January of each year shall be required to
make a new application and pay the same fee as for issuance of a master
plumber's license.

93, Fees.
