A. 
No tow truck, wrecker, platform truck or similar vehicle, its operator or other personnel from the truck or the truck's firm shall be allowed within 50 feet of the scene as determined by the police officer in charge or the fire officer in charge.
B. 
No person not a member of the Village of Yorkville Police Department or Fire Department or an ambulance service shall be allowed within 50 feet of the scene as determined by the police officer in charge or the fire officer in charge.
C. 
No vehicle shall be parked within 50 feet of the scene as determined by the police officer in charge or the fire officer in charge. Further, any vehicle deemed to be obstructing the performance of the personnel involved will be removed immediately upon the order of the police officer in charge or the fire officer in charge.
D. 
At motor vehicle accidents, there will be no solicitation or offer of services on the scene. If the owner(s) of the vehicle(s) involved has no preference or is unable to state a preference, the police officer in charge will summon towing services after the fire officer in charge has determined that the vehicle(s) may be moved.
Any person committing an offense against any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a violation pursuant to the Penal Law of the State of New York, punishable by a fine not to exceed $150 or by imprisonment not to exceed 10 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
