It shall be unlawful for any person to ride on any sled, toboggan, ski, snowboard, ice skate, or other nonmotorized device designed or adapted to ride upon snow or ice, upon any sidewalk in the Borough, or upon any street or alley in the Borough, unless that sidewalk, street or alley is blocked off for such use by authority of § 284-5 of Article I or § 284-26 of Article II of this chapter.
It shall be unlawful for any person to ride on any roller skate, skateboard, in-line skate, roller blade, coaster, scooter, sled, toboggan, ski, snowboard, ice skate, and other nonmotorized vehicle on Allegheny Street or on any sidewalk adjacent to Allegheny Street, from the point of intersection of Allegheny Street with the western right-of-way line of Wilson Street to the point of intersection of Allegheny Street with the eastern right-of-way line of Main Street, or on Main Street or on any sidewalk adjacent to Main Street, from the point of intersection of Main Street with the southern right-of-way line of Smith Street to the northern right-of-way line of Seminary Street.
It shall be unlawful for any person to ride on any pedalcycle on any sidewalk adjacent to Allegheny Street, from the point of intersection of Allegheny Street with the western right-of-way line of Wilson Street to the point of intersection of Allegheny Street with the eastern right-of-way line of Main Street, or on any sidewalk adjacent to Main Street, from the point of intersection of Main Street with the southern right-of-way line of Smith Street to the northern right-of-way line of Seminary Street. For purposes of this article, the term "pedalcycle" shall be as defined in the Vehicle Code, 75 Pa.C.S.A. § 101 et seq.
Nothing set forth in this section shall be construed to prevent a pedestrian from pulling a nonmotorized vehicle, with or without a rider, upon a sidewalk.
Any person who violates any provision of this section shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $5 and costs for the first offense, and for a second or subsequent offense, a fine of $50 and costs.
