The Council of the Borough of Honesdale hereby ordains that no person shall discharge on the streets or alleys or in any other place within the limits of this borough a Flobert rifle, air gun, spring gun or any implement which impels with force a metal pellet of any kind.
Any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $350 nor more than $1,000, plus costs of prosecution, and in default of payment thereof shall be imprisoned for a term not to exceed 30 days. Every day that a violation of this chapter continues shall constitute a separate offense.

This chapter and the underlying ordinance shall not apply to law enforcement officers in pursuit of their duties, said exemptions and exceptions also taking into consideration the provisions of Title 34, Game, Section 2307.[1] Any and all other provisions of Chapter 105 undisturbed by this amendment shall remain in full force and effect.
