All legalized games of chance shall be licensed and conducted in accordance with N.J.S.A. 5:8-1 et seq. Bingo games shall be conducted in accordance with N.J.S.A. 5:8-24 et seq. (Bingo Licensing Law), and raffles shall be conducted in accordance with N.J.S.A. 5:8-50 et seq. (Raffles Licensing Law). The statutes and regulations referenced in this section are hereby adopted by reference, as the same shall be amended and supplemented.
The Municipal Clerk is hereby delegated the authority to act as the issuing authority to approve the granting of raffle and bingo licensing.
Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 5:8-58 and N.J.A.C. 13:47-6.8, legalized games of chance known as "raffles" are hereby authorized to be conducted on Sundays in the Township of Blairstown.
Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 5:8-31 and N.J.A.C. 13:47-6.8, the legalized game of chance known as "bingo" is hereby authorized to be conducted on Sundays in the Township of Blairstown.
A. 
As required by N.J.S.A. 5:8-22, a copy of this chapter shall be filed with the Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission within 10 days of its adoption and on or before February 1 of each year.
B. 
The Township of Blairstown shall make reports regarding licenses as requested by the Commission as required under N.J.S.A. 5:8-22.
Any person, firm or corporation that shall be convicted of a violation of a provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof by any court authorized by law to hear and determine the matter, be subject to a fine of no less than $100 and no more than $1,000, imprisonment not to exceed 90 days or community service of not more than 90 days, or any combination of fine, imprisonment and community service, as such court in its discretion may impose. Each day that such violation exists shall constitute a separate offense.
