[Adopted 2-12-1980 as Art. 331 of
the 1980 Code of Ordinances]
Unless otherwise provided elsewhere in this
chapter, all taxpayers subject to the payment of annual taxes to the
Township shall be entitled to a discount of 2% from the amount of
such tax upon making payment of the whole amount thereof within two
months after the date of the tax notice unless otherwise provided
for.
Unless otherwise specified by separate ordinance
all taxpayers who shall fail to make payment of any annual taxes as
provided in this chapter with such taxes due and owed for four months
or more after the date of the tax notice shall be charged a penalty
of 10%, which penalty shall be added to the taxes by the responsible
Tax Collector and collected by him.
