The use of brake retarders or similar devices by truck operators shall
be prohibited on Main Street/Route 29 between Eleventh Street and Front Street,
and Seminary Street, within the Borough of Pennsburg.
This chapter shall not apply to fire protection equipment or other emergency
vehicles.
Main Street/Route 29 between Eleventh Street and Front Street and Seminary
Street shall be posted with the appropriate "brake retarders prohibited" signs
as required by the relevant PennDot rules and regulations.
The fine or penalty for violation of this chapter shall not exceed $600.
