The office of Tax Collector is hereby created
for the Borough, in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:9-141.
The Tax Collector shall be appointed by the
Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council. The term of the
Tax Collector shall be four years from the first day of January next
following the appointment of the Tax Collector.
The Tax Collector shall have such duties as
may be provided by law. In addition, the Tax Collector shall perform
such other duties as may be directed by the Mayor and Council.[1]
