The holder of this license shall be entitled, subject to rules and regulations, to sell any alcoholic beverages for consumption off the licensed premises, but only in original containers. The annual fee for a plenary retail contribution license shall be $2,500.

The annual fee for a club license shall be $188.
A. 
Except as specified in § 70-4 hereof, no licensee shall sell, serve, deliver or allow, permit or suffer the sale, service or delivery of any alcoholic beverage, or allow the consumption of any alcoholic beverage on licensed premises, unless the same shall occur during the following hours:

(1) 
12:00 noon on Sunday through 2:00 a.m. on Monday.

(2) 
7:00 a.m. on Monday through 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
(3) 
7:00 a.m. on Tuesday through 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
(4) 
7:00 a.m. on Wednesday through 2:00 a.m. on Thursday.
(5) 
7:00 a.m. on Thursday through 2:00 a.m. on Friday.
(6) 
7:00 a.m. on Friday through 3:00 a.m. on Saturday.
(7) 
7:00 a.m. on Saturday through 3:00 a.m. on Sunday.
(8) 
Regardless of what day New Year's Eve falls on, the hours shall be extended to 4:00 a.m.

B. 
Plenary retail distribution licensee.

(1) 
No plenary retail distribution licensee shall sell or allow, permit or suffer the sale of any alcoholic beverages between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. on any weekday or between the hours of 10:00 p.m. Saturday night and 12:00 noon the following Sunday, or from 8:00 p.m. until 9:00 a.m. the following Monday morning.
(2) 
In years in which Christmas Eve and/or New Year's Eve falls on Sunday, the retail distribution licensee shall be permitted to remain open on that Sunday, Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
C. 
During the hours sales of alcoholic beverages are prohibited, the licensed premises shall also be closed.

D. 
The hours above referred to shall be prevailing time.

A. 
The number of plenary retail consumption licenses shall be limited to four, provided that, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 33:1-12.20, this limitation shall not prevent issuance of a new and additional such license to a person operating a hotel or motel containing at least 100 sleeping rooms, and further provided that a license issued pursuant to this hotel or motel exception shall not be transferred to premises not operated as a hotel or motel containing at least 100 sleeping rooms.
B. 
The number of plenary distribution retail licenses shall be limited to one.
C. 
The number of club licenses shall be limited to two.[1]

A person violating any provision of this article, upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to the penalty as provided in § 1-15, General penalty, of this Code.

It shall be unlawful for any person to consume alcoholic beverages within the Borough of Runnemede:
A. 
While in or on a public street, lane, sidewalk, public parking lot, public or quasi-public place or in any public conveyance.
B. 
In a private motor vehicle while the same is in motion or parked in or upon any public street, lane or public parking lot.
C. 
While upon any private property not his own without the express permission of the owner or other person having authority to grant such permission.
It shall be unlawful for any person to discard alcoholic beverage containers within the Borough of Runnemede upon any public street, lane, sidewalk, public parking lot, public or quasi-public place or upon any private property not his own without the express permission of the owner or other person having authority to grant such permission.
Any person who shall violate the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction, be subject to the penalty as provided in § 1-15, General penalty, of this Code.
