Persons seeking to be married or joined in civil
union by the Mayor of the Borough of Runnemede shall pay to the Borough
of Runnemede a fee of $150 for services within the Borough of Runnemede.
Persons seeking to be married or joined in civil union by the Mayor
of the Borough of Runnemede shall pay to the Borough of Runnemede
a fee of $250 for services outside of the Borough of Runnemede.
Policy. There is hereby established by and within
the Borough of Runnemede this article setting forth policies and procedures
concerning the payment of and/or disbursement of fees to the Mayor
for services in connection with the performance of wedding and civil
union ceremonies.
The Borough of Runnemede shall be paid pursuant to § 153-5 for all weddings or civil union ceremonies immediately upon completion of any such wedding or civil union ceremony. The fees shall be deposited into the current fund, payable to the Borough of Runnemede.
The Borough shall disburse to the Mayor the full amount collected under § 153-5 on a monthly basis and shall pay the Mayor accordingly as additional salary.
