The following terms shall have the meanings indicated herein:
PERSON
Includes any individual, corporation, partnership, association, firm or other legal entity. The singular shall include the plural, the plural shall include the singular, and the masculine shall include the feminine and neuter gender.
PUBLIC PROPERTY
Includes, but not be limited to, all public roadways and/or streets, sidewalks, monuments, barricades whether of a temporary or permanent nature, signs, warning lamps, posts, stakes, monuments, directional signs, and/or other real or personal property of the Borough of Rosslyn Farms.
A. 
No person shall destroy, injure, tamper, deface, or remove any real or personal property of the Borough of Rosslyn Farms, including therein any and all stakes, posts, monuments, or other devices used for marking purposes, made, placed or set by the Borough of Rosslyn Farms, to evidence the location, elevation, line, grade, corner, or angle of any public street, alley, sidewalk, curb, gutter, drain, public utility, or other public work, of the Borough of Rosslyn Farms.
B. 
No person shall destroy, injure, tamper with or deface any public property of the Borough of Rosslyn Farms, any building or street light, any public grounds, walkways, overhead lighting devices, trees, shrubs, or other plantings.
C. 
No person shall remove or damage any of the material that is used to form the public streets, roadways, or sidewalks, including without limitation earth, stone, concrete, asphalt, or brick.
D. 
No person shall deposit or place upon any public roadways, sidewalks, or public grounds of the Borough of Rosslyn Farms, any garbage, debris, waste products, or any other harmful or destructive substances of any type.
The prohibitions of this chapter shall not apply to the normal activities that occur in connection with the construction, maintenance and the repair of roadways, sidewalks, and public grounds and the structures and fixtures located thereon, or incidental to the results of such work or the usual and customary use of public roadways, sidewalks, buildings, parks, and walkways.
Any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600 and in default of payment, to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 30 days. Every day that a violation of this chapter continues shall constitute a separate offense.
