No person shall vagrantly loiter, lounge or sleep in or on the streets, sidewalks, public parks or other public places in the City of Linwood, in the County of Atlantic, New Jersey, or obstruct the passage of persons on any sidewalk, street or other public place with boxes, crates, baskets, stands, wares or merchandise or any vehicle; and no persons shall utter loud, offensive, indecent or profane language, or address or make audible any offensive remarks or comments upon or to any persons passing along or being on or in any of such streets, public parks or other public places, or on or in property, public or private, or obstruct or interfere with any person or persons lawfully on or upon any streets, sidewalks, public parks or other public places, or, while in or upon any highway, sidewalk, public park or other public place, accost or annoy any person or persons upon such place by begging or soliciting alms or by soliciting him or them to hire vehicles, engage boarding or hotel accommodations, purchase tickets of admission to visit or view amusements, shows or exhibitions, and no person shall revel, quarrel, brawl or otherwise misbehave in a disorderly manner to the disturbance or annoyance of the peaceable inhabitants of the City, or be guilty of any other disorderly conduct in or on the streets, sidewalks, public parks or other public places.

Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction of the same, be punishable by a fine of an amount not to exceed $500 or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not to exceed 90 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
