§ 78-20 Parking prohibited at all times.

The following locations are established, ratified and confirmed as zones where no person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle at any time upon any highway of the Township or parts thereof at the locations where parking is prohibited as described below:

§ 78-21.1 Handicapped parking.

At the request of any handicapped person or severely disabled veteran, the Board of Supervisors may authorize the erection of a sign on any Township street, unless parking on such street is prohibited by either § 78-20 or 78-21 of this chapter, as close as possible to such person's place of residence, designating and assigning a parking space for such person and indicating thereon that such parking space is reserved exclusively for such handicapped person or severely disabled veteran, as the case may be, that no parking is allowed there by others and that any unauthorized person parking there shall be subject to the fine mandated by § 78-25B of this chapter. Such authorized handicapped parking spaces shall be designated as follows:

§ 78-21.2 Parking of certain vehicles, dumpsters and storage units prohibited.

A. It shall be unlawful for any person to park a mobile home, motor home, trailer, truck camper, boat, boat trailer or utility trailer on any street, highway or road in the Township; provided, however, that the parking of such vehicles shall be permitted for a period of time not to exceed seven consecutive days. A permit must be obtained from the Township Police Department and be attached to the vehicle during the temporary parking period.

B. At no time shall any of the vehicles designated in Subsection A above be permitted to park on any street, highway or road where parking has been prohibited under Article IV of this chapter, titled "Snow and Ice Emergencies," during the period from December 1 through and including April 1.

C. A maximum of 10 temporary parking permits per year will be issued for the same vehicle and a permit will not be issued until a period of five days has elapsed since the issuance of the last permit.

D. It shall be unlawful to place any type of dumpster or any type of portable storage unit within the public rights-of-way of any highway, street or road within the Township, or to place such dumpster or portable storage unit in such a manner upon private property that would obstruct visual lines-of-sight for vehicles entering or exiting such highways, streets or roads. No permits shall be issued for any such placement even upon a temporary basis.
