The village is not responsible for clearing
sidewalks of snow, except in the area immediately in front of the
school. Where residents do not keep their sidewalks free of snow,
the village crew will do it for them and bill them. Where residents
are elderly, ill and unable to pay such a bill, volunteers or those
doing community service will shovel the sidewalks for them.
