GENERAL REFERENCES
Taxation — See Ch. 209.
This chapter is enacted to provide for the disposition of revenues
from taxes imposed by the County of Erie in that said amounts are
to be paid directly to the Village of Depew to be used for any Village
purpose.
Section 1262 of the Tax Law authorizes counties to set aside
a portion of their sales tax revenue for cities, towns and villages;
pursuant to this section the Village of Depew is providing that the
amounts paid to the Village, as a portion of the sales tax revenue,
shall be paid directly to the Village of Depew to be used for any
Village purpose.
This chapter will affect sales tax revenue which was set aside
by the County of Erie for the Village of Depew pursuant to law.
This chapter shall take effect after mailing, filing and publication
as required by law.
