The Board of Health shall consist of seven members,
who shall be residents and legal voters of the Village.
The members of the Board of Health shall be
appointed by the Board of Commissioners.
The term of office of the several members of
the Board of Health shall be three years from the date of their appointment.
If any vacancy occurs in the membership of the
Board of Health, such vacancy shall be filled for the unexpired term
only by appointment by the Board of Commissioners.
It shall be the duty of the Board of Health
to execute and enforce the provisions of the State Sanitary Code and
other provisions of the laws of the State of New Jersey and of the
United States relating to public health.
