The provisions of this article imposing a time
limit on parking shall not relieve any person of the duty to observe
other and more restrictive provisions prohibiting or limiting the
stopping, standing or parking of vehicles as set forth in N.J.S.A.
39:4-138, any other New Jersey statute or as hereinafter provided.
No person shall park a vehicle at any time, except on the days and between the hours specified, upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule A (§
197-43) attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle on the days and between the hours specified in Schedule B (§
197-44) upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule B attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stop or stand a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule C (§
197-45) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule C attached to and made a part of this chapter.

No person shall park a vehicle for longer than the time limit shown in Schedule D (§
197-46) upon any of the streets, parts of the streets or parking lot spaces described in said Schedule D attached to and made a part of this chapter.

A. No truck, bus, tractor, trailer, semitrailer, boat, camper or other
motor vehicle, as defined in N.J.S.A. 39:1, with a gross weight of
more than 5,500 pounds and/or a length of more than 18 feet and/or
a height of more than seven feet and/or equipped with more than four
tires and/or equipped with any fixed appurtenance shall park on any
day of the week on any street within the Village of Ridgefield Park
between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
B. For purposes of this chapter, the term "fixed appurtenance" shall
mean any fixed or movable object that protrudes past either the front
or rear edge of the body of the vehicle, as well as any fixed or movable
object that extends higher than three feet above the roofline of the
vehicle.
No person shall park a vehicle between the hours
of 12:01 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. in the areas provided for parking in the
Village parks. It shall be unlawful for any person to park a vehicle
upon any portion of Village parkland not provided for parking. It
shall be unlawful for any person to operate a vehicle in the Village
parks except in the parking area. No trucks or commercial vehicles
over one ton gross weight shall be allowed in Village parks and parking
areas, other than those which have permits issued by the Board of
Commissioners. Permits are to properly identify those trucks with
authorized entry to the parks or parking areas.

A. It shall be unlawful for a person to park a vehicle
upon any portion of Village school land not provided for parking.
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a vehicle upon the
Village school land except the parking area and roadways. No person
shall park a vehicle on Village school land provided for parking between
the hours of 12:01 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., except for authorized vehicles
which shall be properly identified. No trucks or commercial vehicles
shall be allowed on Village school lands and parking areas other than
those on emergency repair, picking up or delivering of material for
school and school vehicles.
B. Traffic at the following locations shall be regulated
as follows:
(1) Henry Street, between Teaneck Road and Orchard Street,
shall be closed to all traffic between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and
4:00 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays, while school is in session.
C. The Department of Police shall post such signs and/or
barricades as are necessary to alert traffic on said streets to the
above regulations.
D. Any person who shall travel upon said streets contrary
to the terms of this article shall be subject to a fine of not less
than $50.
