Transit districts generally — See

By the authority granted under Chapter 103A
of the Connecticut General Statutes, State of Connecticut, as amended,
a transit district is hereby established.
The City of Meriden may, by itself or in cooperation
with one or more other municipalities, form a transit district in
the manner and for the purposes provided, in accordance with the authority
herein granted.
The adoption of a transit district shall be
presented to the electors of the City of Meriden at its next regular
election to be held on November 5, 1968, and shall require approval
by a majority of the electors so voting on said adoption.

The affairs of the transit district shall be
managed in accordance with the statutory authority made and provided
in this instance.
All requirements necessary for the establishment
of a transit district shall be complied with in accordance with the
statutory authority as herein provided.
