It shall be unlawful for persons unnecessarily to assemble in any public street, avenue, sidewalk, alley or lane or in any public place in the Village of Coxsackie in such numbers as to obstruct travel or, having so assembled, to refuse to move on when requested so to do by any police officer. It shall be the duty of each and every police officer to disperse any such assemblages or persons.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be punishable by a fine of not more than $250 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both.
