A. 
Each new connection to water mains of the Village shall be made at the sole expense of the homeowner.
B. 
The line from the main to the building shall be of a type and size as required by the Superintendent of Water.
C. 
Each installation shall include a curb cock as near as possible to the street right-of-way.
D. 
The homeowner shall pay to the Village, prior to installation, a tap-in fee as the Board of Trustees shall, by resolution, establish from time to time.
E. 
No part of the installation shall be made within the paved portion of any street until written permission is obtained from the Superintendent of Streets. Paved areas shall be restored to as near the original conditions as possible in such manner and using such methods as prescribed by the Superintendent of Streets.

All applications for new installations shall be accompanied by a fee as follows:

The fee for larger lines will increase $50 for every 1/4 inch.
(3) 
The fee for unforeseen circumstances will result in billing for time and materials in accordance with the circumstances.
G. 
No taps shall be made except by the Village.
H. 
Cuts in pavement shall only be made by pneumatic tools or such other method approved by the Superintendent of Streets as will ensure straight cuts.
I. 
Streets shall not be backfilled with excavated material but only with material as approved by the Superintendent of Streets.
All repairs necessitated by damage between the curb cock and the building shall be performed by and at the sole expense of the owner. All others shall be the responsibility of the Village.
Water use rates shall be as established from time to time by the Village Board.
A. 
No person, firm or corporation shall obtain any water from Village mains except in such manner as said water will first pass through a metering device capable of measuring consumption.
B. 
Meters will be provided at the Village's expense, except those damaged by frost or other culpable act of the owner or occupant.
C. 
The cost of installation of meters, except for the replacement of defective meters, shall be borne by the owner.
Special provisions relating to use outside the Village (nondistrict) shall be as follows:
A. 
All replacement of defective lines from the main to the dwelling shall be done at the expense of owner.
B. 
The Village reserves the right to terminate service to all users who are more than two quarters behind in the payment of water rents.
C. 
The Village reserves the right to establish water rates in an amount greater than those charged within the Village limits.
