[HISTORY: Adopted by the Council of the City
of Meriden 10-7-1963 as § 18-6 of the 1963 Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]
It shall be unlawful for any child under the
age of 15 years to loiter on the streets or in any other public place
in the City after 9:00 p.m. and before 4:00 a.m. unless such child
is accompanied by his parent or guardian or other adult person into
whose care and custody such child has been committed by his parent
or guardian.
It shall be unlawful for any parent or other
person having control of any minor to compel or permit such minor
to violate the provisions of this chapter.

Any person violating the provisions of this
chapter may be fined $50 to $90 for each violation.
