A.
No individual, group or organization may use voice or mechanical
sound amplification equipment for any purpose from a vehicle without
a special permit issued by the Chief of Police for temporary use on
a special occasion.
B.
Any person who violates the provisions of this section shall, upon
conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $50 and costs.
A.
It shall be unlawful for any person to ride on a sled upon any sidewalk
in the Township or upon any roadway; provided, however, that nothing
in this section shall prevent a pedestrian from pulling a sled, with
or without a rider, upon a sidewalk.
B.
It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in roller-skating,
or skateboarding or to ride upon or propel any other coaster or toy
vehicle upon any street or any sidewalk located in a public right-of-way
or in an area open to the public, except that nothing in this subsection
shall prevent a pedestrian from pulling a coaster or other toy vehicle,
with or without a rider, upon a sidewalk.
C.
Any person who violates any provision of this section shall, upon
conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $5 and costs.
The unnecessary sounding of horns or other signal devices, the
use of muffler cutouts and excessive engine smoke on Township streets
is hereby prohibited.
In case of fire or other emergency, no vehicle other than authorized
vehicles may approach within two blocks of the emergency scene. For
the purposes of this chapter, "authorized vehicle" shall mean Fire
Department vehicles or personnel, Police Department vehicles or personnel,
ambulance vehicles or personnel or any other personnel summoned to
the scene or routinely assigned for the express purpose of assisting
in the resolution of the existing emergency.
It shall be unlawful for any person to ride or to park a pedalcycle
on the sidewalk in a business district.
A.
No person shall deface, damage, move, obstruct, destroy, change the
working of or alter or otherwise interfere with any official traffic
equipment or traffic and/or parking ticket placed on any vehicle.
For the purposes of this chapter, "traffic equipment" shall be construed
as any traffic lights and related apparatus, traffic signs and/or
poles, traffic counters and attached accessories, barricades, barrels,
lighted signs, flares, artificial lighting equipment, cones and other
warning and danger signals and devices.
It shall be unlawful for any motorist to cut through private
property to avoid any traffic control device. For the purposes of
this chapter, "device" shall mean any traffic signal, stop sign, yield
sign, any turn-prohibiting signs or a traffic control officer.
It shall be unlawful for any person to park or to allow to remain
parked any vehicle on a sidewalk.
