In accordance with Section 2403, Act of April
9, 1929, (P.L. 177 as amended)[2] the Borough of Danville hereby signifies its intention
to participate in the purchase of purchase contracts for materials,
supplies and equipment entered into by the Department of General Services
of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The Borough of Danville hereby requests the
Department of General Services that it be authorized to participate
in purchase contracts of the Department, and agrees that it will be
bound by such terms and conditions as the Department may prescribe
and that the Borough of Danville shall be responsible for payment
directly to the vendor under each purchase contract.
The Borough of Danville further requests that
it be permitted to make direct purchases of materials, supplies and
equipment or of purchase contracts entered into by any other administrative
department authorized to make direct purchases.
