The official paid holidays of all Village employees shall be as established by the Board of Trustees by resolution on a yearly basis at the organizational meeting.

The previously established vacation schedule shall remain the same, as follows:
A. 
After one year’s service: one week.
B. 
Two year’s service: two weeks.
C. 
Seven year’s service: three weeks.
D. 
12 year’s service: four weeks.
E. 
18 year’s service: five weeks.
F. 
No employee shall be entitled to any vacation unless having completed one year of continuous service. Vacation schedules should be filed with the Clerk and have the approval of the Board.
G. 
No more than 320 hours’ vacation time can be accumulated by an employee at any time.

Village of Coxsackie employees will earn one day per month sick leave. Any absences in excess of three days shall be substantiated by a doctor's certificate.

The Village of Coxsackie, by its governing body, agrees to confer the benefits of § 18 of the Public Officers Law, the State of New York, to its employees, as such term is defined in Subdivision 1(b) of said law, and to be held liable for the costs incurred under the provisions of such law.
